Prize money and points revealed
The winner of the entire tournament will receive the amount of 48 000 USD, and will get 160 points in the rankings.
There have been some witdrawals this week and Eugenie Bouchard is now also in the Main Draw. Canadian star played the last WTA tournament in Prague earlier this August which was also organized by TK Sparta Prague and Czech Tennis Association.
Bouchard joined other 120 certain players including Sara Errani, Monica Niculescu, Anhelina Kalinina, Yanina Wickmayer who will share a record prize money of 3,125,000 USD.
The winner of the entire tournament will receive 48,000 USD, which is over a million CZK. Since the tournament is a substitute for the US Open qualification, the differences in the prize money are not as huge as at other WTA events.
The defeated finalist will receive a check for 43,000 USD, the semi-finalists will receive 40,000 USD and the players who drop out in the quarterfinals will receive $ 36,000. Players will receive $ 11,000 for participating in the Main Draw if they are eliminated in the first round.
There will be also a lot of ranking points. The winner takes 160 points, the finalist 95 points and the semifinalist 75 points.
A check of 37,000 USD and 160 ranking points are prepared for the winning pair in doubles.
Of the Czech players, Denisa Šátralová, Miriam Kolodziejová and Jesika Malečková will play at the tournament in Prague.
